    CHIAYI CITY, Taiwan
    (TraNews) –Every night in Wenhua night market, there are jammed with crowds of people. However, there is a street vendor on the other side of the road, away from the noisy section, sells salted fried chicken for 2 decades. The vendor is a generous and kind mother.

    The owner insists on purchasing fresh ingredients every day from the market. The food are all made by the owner, like fried chicken, squid and sweet potatoes. The fried chicken is cured since morning and has special formula in it. It is crispy and juicy. The most popular food in the stand is the fried capelin. The capelin is covered with powder then deep fry afterwards. There is also Chiayi specialty- chicken blood cake. It tastes chewy and crispy in the same time.

    There is also one thing that loved by patrons. It is salty pork. The pork is cured with soy sauce, Chinese herbals, garlic and spices. The salty pork comes with 2 flavors, original flavor and black pepper. Customers can purchase back home and heat it up with oven. The salty pork has extremely tender texture with fine flavor.
