(TraNews) –Delicacy plays an important role in each trip. Taiwanese delicacies have certain charm and attraction that always pull tourists back to the lovely place again and again. Each kind of delicacy has its own story and you can see through local history and culture via food.

Kinmen is on the opposite side of Amoy, China. They share the same topography also culinary culture. Due to political issue, Kinmen has no longer attached to Amoy after 1949. The culinary culture has then influenced by mainland Taiwan. There are some special seafood cuisine that you rarely have in mainland Taiwan, such as nereis. If you visit Kinmen next time, you should definitely come dine and savor some of the most freshest seafood in here.

There are some staple items of the region, including seafood congee and yellow croaker coup. The broth of the congee is savory and there are clams, oysters, fish and shrimps inside the congee. You can have all the authentic seafood in one bowl at a time. The yellow croaker is pan-fried in advance then simmered with water, fish balls, tofu and Chinese cabbage. The fine soup is refreshing and you can taste the freshness of fish while savoring. One simple bowl of fish soup has translated the perfect flavor of hometown.
